Hi everyone
I've been reading this board with great intrest and see there are many smart people here to help out. I need to know about the Eliminator ProFlo system. The plumber who is plumbing my house says that this is the only softener thats legal to install in Mesquite Nevada. - Is this true ?
Also, they said it has the smartest electronic controls, which I don't know that I really care about. How smart does a water softener really need to be ?
thanks guys
Alec

R&M Manufacturing is a good company, run by mostly good people.
There are some gross misrepresentations when their product is sold though.
There is NO LAW that states their product is the only legal system ANYWHERE. I've heard that presentation before and it is absolute nonsense.
Their controls are definitely NOT the smartest, a NorthStar softener has smarter controls than theirs !

Thanks,we've been doing a LOT of research and I like the look of the SmartBottle system. Where can I get the best price on it. My plumber says he's never heard of it.

I dont recommend it I've had my Eliminator for 6 months and it makes salty water. My plumber won're help me and I called the R&M service number and nobody there will help me troubleshoot it.

Total piece of **** !
It got a little better from the advice the guys here gave but stil salty one in a bit. There service man 'Raul' cam to the house and told me the system was fine. I ask him "what about the salty water ?" He says "Youre imagining it" !
I it taken out and I replaced it with something that works (Culligan). I am so disgusted by their lack of service, it just makes me sick. I filed a compliant with the BBB, but they've move from their Lindon, Utah address. I hope nobody else gets burned like I did !
