Boy am I glad to have found you folks!
Hi, my name is Joanna (and Gailey) and I have recently moved from Alberta to Ontario in Canada and have been thawrted in my attempts to find out what is going on with my water :confused:
But this is for introductions, so let me begin by telling you I hail from England, have lived close to water all my life. I grew up in an old water mill, am the daughter of a civil engineer from the water industry and could locate and open a sluice valve before the age of 12, mighty useful, let me tell you :cool:
Most recently, I am a professional gardener who actively promotes environmentally sustainable gardening. I abhor irrigation systems and I am more aware than most what a precious commodity water is. I'd like to be able to tell you that I only bathe once a week in two tablespoons of water, but that wouldn't be strictly truthful!
I have recently moved into a house built in 2001 and for the first time in my life am the proud owner of a water softening system as well as an under the sink RO unit.
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate section in which to ask for help, but I would be mightily grateful if you water experts could give me some advice.
I only found your forum yesterday, so as yet I haven't managed to read all the threads, but I will. Looking forward to learning what you all have to say.
